Advice and Support

On this page we will try to post information, help, advice and support for families during these difficult economic times. We will also post appeals for donations or help from organisations working to support the local community.

If you are experiencing difficulties, we may be able to help, or point you in the direction of others who may be able to help - contact Miss Lane at school.

If you know of an organisation that is working to support families in the local community that other families might benefit from contacting, please let us know and we will see if we can feature them on this page (also let us know if you know of an organisation that is asking for donations or making an appeal).

Winter Pressures and Cost of Living Resource Pack

The NHS has produced a a resource pack document which outlines available support for winter pressures and the cost-of-living crisis. There are links to organisations which offer support, advice and resources covering: housing, energy bills, food, mental health and debt. You can download a copy of the document by clicking this PDF link.

Food Donations

This year, because of the rising cost of living, we have suggested that families should not buy Christmas gifts for teachers. Instead we have suggested that you might make a small donation of a packet or tin of food that the school can pass onto a Wolverhampton Charity - by Friday 15th December. The organisation we are supporting is called 'Every Family Counts'; they are local (based in Low Hill) and will arrange food parcels to anyone with a WV postcode, which (of course) includes Bilston and Bradley. If you can spare a tin or packet, please send it in to school.
